  • Introduction & Meditation (10 min)

    IFS Demonstration (up to 60 min)

    • General Demonstration

      • Single participant will be pulled from the audience (volunteer or at random)

    • Role Play For Engaging With Difficult Parts

      • Participant(s) are determined ahead of time

    • Demonstrations will be capped at 60 min

    • During Demonstration: Questions, comments & discussion points are encouraged in the Zoom Chat

    Debrief Discussion (20-30 min)

    • Dedicated time to address Zoom Chat questions & comments

    • Group dialogue encouraged

    • All sessions will be recorded

    • Session recordings will be made available to purchasing patrons

    • During the IFS Demonstration section, we ask that participants turn off their cameras and mute themselves

    • Real-Time Relational Modeling: The IFS approach is inherently relational, witnessing real time application of how to relate and communicate with parts is not only valuable but necessary for a strong IFS practice

About Mike Elkin

A renowned leader in the field of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Mike Elkin’s career has spanned over 50 years in psychotherapy, trauma healing, and addiction treatment.

From his 1984 work Families Under The Influence, close collaboration with Dr. Richard Schwartz in the early adoption of IFS, and years as an IFS trainer - Mike has leveraged his expertise to innovate the most effective methods of healing trauma including hypnotic techniques to supplement IFS.

His dedication to spreading the principles of IFS therapy extends beyond professional circles, as he actively works to make the model accessible to individuals and organizations worldwide. A visionary in his field, Mike continues to inspire the next generation of therapists, empowering them to foster healing and transformation in their clients' lives.
